How does the first visit to the orthodontist work?

During an initial visit, the aim is to understand the dental situation and clearly explain possible solutions.

At our Lausanne practice, the consultation begins with an intraoral scan, which is used to produce a video and 3D reconstruction of the mouth. This digital model then serves as a simple, visual means of showing any problems and their evolution. If necessary, X-rays can complete the examination.

Based on this information, the different treatment options are presented and an estimate is drawn up, so that the patient has a complete picture of his or her situation.
